Our goal is to fill our camp schedule with live performances by artists who are doing something different musically and are challenging their audience to view music and audio in a new way. Artists that are implementing unusual methodology, instrumentation, or equipment in the creation of their sound and music are encouraged to contact us. We would love to take a listen!
We are open to both electronic and acoustic acts, but please note that we are not scheduling DJs. This is not intended as a slight to the many talented DJs out there. We simply feel that there are enough other camps for them to play at, most of which are far more suited for it - in terms of sound system and camp setup - than we would be.
Interested artists and musicians should send an email to rbaseel / at / gmail / dot / com. Please include the following information:
There are a few obstacles this year that we are slowly taking care of. What would the Burn be without unexpected problems and “plan B” situations? Luckily enough, we still have just about everything we need from last year, with just a few more things to buy like a ladder, some new rope, and some better stakes. We’re down a few of our crew from last year, but this year will see the arrival of some new camp members as well, so with a bit of luck the work load and financial costs will work out nicely for everyone.
Stay tuned for more information, which will be posted as our camp planning develops
