I put this togheter for a project today, basically for a small speaker element i salvaged from an old speaker, that I wanted to use directly from my PC(without amplification the signal was way to quiet). Thougth i'd put it here in case anyone else needed a simple as possible amplifier circuit, this was the simplest one i found, also pretty cheap since it got so few ingredients! I am by no means a veteran when it comes to reading datasheets, but I managet to put this togheter on a breadboard and make it work. next step is soldering it togheter! here is the schematics:

PS! while working on this on the breadboard, i made some unexpected connections, wich restulted in a pretty insane noise machine when i touched the circuitry here and there, so i probably need to put one togheter with body contacts. Definitely got potential as a audio havoc machine if done rigth(that is, wrong)! If i remember rigth it included replacing the 1uf and 1 nf capacitators with other(lower?) values and disconnecting the signal from the tip of the input plug) _________________ http://www.swampsupnostrils.com
